I hope you're doing well as we dive into the vibrant month of August. It's a month that holds a special place in my heart, not only because it's my birthday month but also because it embodies the essence of summer. The long days, abundant sunshine, thrilling summer storms, and even the sight of school supplies lining the store shelves - it's a beautiful blend of my favorite things.
Hobbies:
Lately, I've ventured into a new hobby that has sparked my curiosity and passion. While I'm not quite ready to share all the details just yet, I promise to keep you updated and it will definitely surprise you. This experience has got me thinking about hobbies in our fast-paced world. In this age of constant phone-checking and worrying about the future, have we forgotten the joy of pursuing our passions? I'd love to hear from you - do you currently have a hobby or perhaps one you'd like to start? How much time and energy do you invest in it? Let's start a conversation and keep it going.
Clear out the old:
With a new school year on the horizon, it's the perfect time for a fresh start. Even though I haven't been a formal student since 2014, I've been busy preparing my kids for the upcoming school year. Amidst the welcome emails and new supplies, there's also an opportunity to clear out the old. We all have habits, routines, and items that no longer serve us. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been decluttering our home, letting go of things that are worn out or no longer bring us joy. My intention behind this purge is to minimize our possessions, which in turn reduces responsibilities, cleaning, and stress. It's all about creating space for play and rest in the upcoming school year.
What's cluttering your home or your mind? Are you embarking on a new season of change? Let's embrace this moment to let go of what no longer serves us and make room for growth and fulfillment.
